STEM @ SAIS

SAIS has partnered with ATLAB STEM Academy to implement STEM at our school. We believe in accommodating every student’s unique learning style in the STEM curriculum, whether a student is a kinaesthetic or visual learner. Our STEM curriculum has been designed to ensure student success through a combination of text, videos, ICT, and real-world, hands-on activities.

Besides giving a solid foundation in STEM and exposing students to unlimited career options, the activities we provide kindle the imagination and creativity of students, enabling them to be experimentative, innovative, and inspired. Students work in collaboration to complete the curriculum, the experiences they share promote positive communication, teamwork, inquiry-based learning, and social skills.

We challenge our students to investigate the wonders of the many scientific fields. Our collaborative approach to S.T.E.A.M. provides students with a unique opportunity to engage in Science, Art, Math, engineering, and technology. We provide students with the tools to experiment with robotic technology while learning about construction and programming. We use Lego Mind Storm, SAM, PITSCO, PASCO Kits to help students understand the different branches of engineering and problem solving while incorporating mathematics and physics.

SAIS STEM @ PRIMARY SCHOOL

Directed at grades 3-5, this STEM curriculum forms the foundation for students to build their literacy skills, numeracy skills, and ability to speak eloquently.

SAIS STEM @ MIDDLE SCHOOL

​

Ideal curriculum for 6-8 grades. Children are taught STEM concepts with an age-appropriate curriculum that will build analytical and reasoning ability, which’s required for tomorrow’s thinkers.

Coming Up…ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE @HIGH SCHOOL

Advanced problem-solving skills are tested and honed. This curriculum, directed at 9-10 grade students is targeted to prepare them for a competitive world ahead.
